Why is this type of boarding so important? There are several reasons.

First, most dogs are not in the physical shape they need to be. Adequate activity will not only shape the physical body, but also the mind. This makes for a more sound and happy dog. A simple walk in the park is less than what your dog is hoping for. Let your dog be a dog. For those of you that have sporting breeds, keep in mind that South Dakota reported a record number of bird dog deaths in 2005 due to the heat and under-conditioning. Don't let this happen to you. Condition your dog.

Second, sporting dogs need to be exposed to wild birds. Training on liberated birds have their limitations.

What are our boarding options and pricing? Boarding at Hay Creek Kennel is not ordinary. With our boarding package, your dog will enjoy much more than a nice stay. Your dog will get the valuable exercise that most boarding facilities do not provide through free running or roading. If your dog is a sporting breed, he or she may be offered the opportunity to be exposed to wild birds such as grouse, woodcock, and prairie chicken, as well as liberated bobwhite quail at your request. When you come back refreshed from your vacation, your dog will too.
